This is out of order but you get the idea (we were here before Valparaíso). We spent a few days in this Argentine wine town and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We drank wine, wandered, and spent a day in the canyon land nearby. We tried to go to a festival/beauty pageant that is basically the one happening of the year in this little town but it got rained out by this incredible thunder storm and we walked home 2 miles in the pouring rain and insane thunder and lightening. Definitely memorable. And a cool region. VERY flat and VERY dry.
