Sorry there's been such a long gap since we posted last! Things have been busy with company, traveling, etc. More on that in posts to come.
We decided to escape the city for Christmas, so we went to the beach in Uruguay! It ruled. The beach there was incredible and we went right before the high summer season started so we had the place pretty much to ourselves. We did all the normal Christmas stuff...ate an ostrich and fried egg sandwich, hung out on the beach, got eaten alive by mosquitoes and watched the sun rise over the Atlantic. You know, the norm.
We missed our friends and family a lot and spent Christmas Eve night looking at a billion stars, drinking champagne, and talking about what we'd be doing if we were home. So it worked out in the end. Happy Holidays!
